We are seeking an Ophthalmic Medical Assistant to join our team. In this role you’ll be at the heart of patient care—helping our doctors with everything from starting patient visits and taking medical histories to performing eye measurements to refractometry, diagnostic, and vision testing. You’ll also have the option to cross-train across areas like transcription, as well as assist with in-office cosmetic and surgical procedures.

- Work Location: This position is based at our Geneva location, but flexibility to travel between offices as needed may be required after training. Please inquire if you have any questions about location
- Job Type: Full-time, 40–42 hours per week
- Experience: 1 year in ophthalmology (preferred)
- Willingness to Travel: 50% (preferred)
- We provide on-the-job training to help you succeed
Skills & Experience
- Prior experience in healthcare/pharmacy or a fast-paced setting
- Strong computer and typing skills a must. Training is provided onsite for the right candidates
- A willingness to learn and grow
Schedule
- M-F, 8-hour shift
- Evening shift
- No weekends!
