The Eye Care Center Expands to Newark, NY

Wayne Regional Eye Center now part of The Eye Care Center

Canandaigua, New York, June 5 ,2018 – The Eye Care Center, one of the most comprehensive eye care providers in the Finger Lakes, has expanded as Wayne Regional Eye Center joins The Eye Care Center family.

“We are excited by the opportunity to provide comprehensive eye care services including routine eye exams and specialty services to residents of Wayne county,” said Dr. Sungjun J. Hwang, laser vision correction and cataract surgery specialist from The Eye Care Center, Canandaigua. “Joining forces with long-time Newark comprehensive ophthalmologist, Dr. Mary Susan Napoleon and optometrist, Dr. John S. Ray from the Wayne Regional Eye Center allowed us to build on a longstanding partnership between doctors in both practices. We are now able to offer access to all our subspecialty services including cataract, cornea, laser vision correction, retina, and oculoplastics to the Wayne county area!  We look forward to partnering with Drs. Napoleon and Ray to continue the exceptional care provided to their patients as well as working with other physicians in the Wayne county area.”

The Eye Care Center, headquartered in Canandaigua, New York is one of the most comprehensive eye care providers in the Finger Lakes region with offices now in Newark, Canandaigua and Geneva.   The practice recently was awarded “Best in The Fingers Lakes” in three categories – eye care, optometry and eyewear.

Now with 12 doctors and specialists at three locations, The Eye Care Center provides complete eye care from routine exams, laser cataract, retina, cornea, oculoplastics, facial rejuvenation and laser vision correction to patients from all over the Finger Lakes and Wayne County Region.

Wayne Regional Eye Center patients will now have access to Eye Care Center specialists and patient care in its current location on the Newark-Wayne Community Hospital / Rochester Regional Health campus at 1210 Driving Park, Newark, NY.
